🧶 Epic Yarns
A cozy multiplayer game I made, where everything — the town, the sky, the people, and the pets — is knit from yarn.
What it is
Epic Yarns is a 3D world you walk around in your browser. When you make a new player, a house with your name gets knit for you in Straight-Stitch Town. Friends on the same Wi-Fi can join and play together.
Places to explore
- Straight-Stitch Town — houses with bulletin boards, plus shops on Bobbin Street: Paws and Purls (poodles, cats, birds, hedgehogs), the Furniture Store, the Gardening Store, the Clothing Store, and the Paint Shop. Stray cats and rabbits roam the lawns.
- Shell-Stitch Beach — crabs, boats, and surfboards. Put on a swimsuit to swim under the sea past coral, fish, turtles, jellyfish, and octopuses.
- Loose Stitch Valley — yarn animals to photograph, and the Story Stump.
- The Airport — talk to a ticket agent to fly somewhere new.
Things you can do
- Earn Yarncoins every day and spend them on pets, furniture, clothes, and flights
- Write books, take photos, and send messages to other players
- Read and write the Stitch Times newspaper at the plaza fountain
- Switch between seeing your wool doll and seeing through its eyes
- Watch the sky follow the real clock — sunrise, daytime, sunset, and a starry night

This version is just for you — your world is saved in your own browser, so nobody else walks around in it. The multiplayer version, where friends can play together, is still something I play at home.
